Do I need a leader?
Optional but recommended for treble-hook baits, toothy fish, ultra-clear water, or when you want added abrasion resistance and sink at the business end.
Spinning or casting — what test should I choose?
Spinning: 10–15 lb for finesse and distance. Casting: 25–40 lb for reaction baits and grass, 40–60 lb for frogging and flipping heavy cover.

I absolutely love the k9 9 braid. I got it in the hi-viz pink and use a fluro leader with it, Its strong, has good knot strength, and is easy to see. I will be purchasing more very shortly for my other rod and reel set-ups. I highly recommend this brand!
I won't use anything else from long poling or dead sticking crappie. Simply the Best.

This has to be the best line I've ever used for detecting the smallest bite and finicky fish. I went on guided trip recently and I was using mono line and the guide was using K9 braid. He was getting bit and I wasn't. He told me that I was probably getting bites but just couldn't feel them. He gave me one of his rod and spinning reel combos to use with this line on it and within minutes I was already catching. I could feel the smallest of ticks from bites that apparently I was not felling before and the small diameter helped tremendously. It made a believer out of me and I switched all my rods over to K9 braid. Thanks for an awesome product!
