I've been using K9 8 strand braid for 3 years now without a single issue that doesn't suit me. One reel has been spooled and used at least 200 times in that period without fraying or breaking. The color fades a bit but I personally like it better faded. If it breaks this year I'll just spool it in reverse on a different reel. Quiet, smooth, long casting, and incredibly thin. I'm liking it.
This the only braid I will put on my reels weather its tournament fishing or guiding very sensitive,tough and able to make longer cast.
I like the way K-9 braid spools off of the reel when I dock shoot for Crappie. I have had other braid that will tangle with itself on the spool. I have not had that problem with K-9. Always trash, debris and junk under dock to be snagged on. K-9 almost always pulls out the hook and saves the frustration of loosing my setup!!! I like the pink color. Easy for old eyes to see. Telegraphs crappie strikes very well. No problems with hook set.
